Helsinki Songs Album by Trygve Seim
This is an easy going 2018 release. Has that 1980’s 1990’s big city commercial radio jazz production. Not avant or free really but if we ever needed open borders now is the time.
This album could almost be approached like an ambient bgm recording except the lyricism of the melodies that borrow from the modal age and successful hints of ethnicity is too attention grabbing. I gave another release from this guy a bad review on lampfighter but this ones a winner if you’re willing to chill.
