Yeah, I agree with the OP. Real punks don't dress in what is thought to be "punk" wear.
Those are just whiney bitch kids who are mad they have a curfew and their father asks them if they want a skirt to go with their long hair every holiday. There are certain things that are difinitivly "punk" and the rest is filler. Im just guessing but anytime someone wants to be more [insert term] than someone else a king-of-the-mountain mentality comes into play.
There is little diffrence between punk credibility and chrisitain morality. No one that ever lacked inteligence was every a genuine punk person.
