Me and my brother still put on all of the shiny bits, glass globes and whatever every year. It's been a while since I've joined my parents in chopping down a tree in a forest though.
The smell of pine and the pain from the pointy pine needles is like a tradition. I know it's christmas when my fingers hurt but I'm in a good mood anyway. I don't know what the specific species of pine tree we always get is named, but a direct translation would be "Red Pine". It's got short, pointy needles from hell, but it looks great and smells great.
