This response idk. Some find it incredulous certain members haven't heard of Elvis yet you think I "never would have heard of him." If I didn't investigate Elvis' music because like I said (I was interested in Scotty Moore because he was cited by my favorite guitar players) it's still highly probable I still would have heard of Elvis. Like I saw the movie Bubba Ho-Tep just last week for example.

Over-saturation during my time in the service destroyed any notion of me ever enjoying his music, and even at that, there wasn't much there after being exposed to it by fat, drunk, polyester wearing imbecilic fanboys when I was a kid. Sure, the musicians are great, I mean what do you expect, he was a star and he's gonna get the star treatment. It's his image that gets the full brunt of my contempt.

I am a fun person, and to that I say: Good day to you, sir.
That is such a great story. Thank you for sharing. It's so cool for me to know that I know someone who knew someone who knew Elvis Presley. So why do you ask about the "military hair cut?" I wasn't in the military, but I had a military style haircut when I was in HS. Every once in a while (during the change in class) a girl who would like to her hand through my hair. So you can't tell me the ladies didn't find you drop dead sexy after your military haircut. But tbh I don't know what you went through. It could have been a traumatic experience for you for all I know. Did he have worn out clippers?

I know what you mean about the polyester though. I have such an uber-disdain for The Doors. The problem is I can't stand the sound of squeaky leather pants. Man, if there is one turn off in music it's the way Rock star dresses. Dog-gone-it Jim, couldn't you have worn worn out jeans like everyone else?

Good day to you, sir, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!
