Bruh, read Miracleman. Read ****ing Miracleman. There is no superhero story more destroyed AND REBUILT than Miracleman and it was written by the same guy who wrote Watchmen before he wrote Watchmen. I won't say it was as masterfully written as Watchmen but god ****ing Miracleman.
