nope!
i used to have one of those tall lamps with the circle at the top that was really really bright. i wouldnt mind that type of lighting here in my Connecticut place. i used that previous lamp at two other locations i lived in the midwest.
i have a lava lamp but it just felt too "hippie" ish for me :/

my mother gave me a pink salt lamp that I use now every day
it doesnt light of the area but it gets warm and idk, "its supposed to help with anxiety"
thou if a doctor ever told me to get a salt lamp for some anxiety, id laugh inside
i feel that with the lighting from my ceiling, i dont really need a new lamp stil though
