Ok so these are really obvious recommendations for anyone who know a bit about reggae music but if you don't know these records already please give them a try.
If you don't find anything you like here, i'd suggest you try another era of jamaican music, be it rocksteady (before reggae) or more recent stuff...
Johnny Osbourne - Truths & Rights (try the title track and Jah Promise at least)
Dennis Brown - Visions
Max Romeo & The Upsetters - War Ina Babylon
Junior Murvin - Police & Thieves
Jackie Mittoo - Macka Fat (instrumental but so good you probably won't notice and enjoy it from the first second to the very last)
Abyssinians - Satta Massa Gana (excellent from start to finish)
The Gladiators - Proverbial Reggae (same thing)
