but seriously, for instance I like dark side of the moon, but I do think it's overrated. All the effects and hocus pocus are not very interesting in themselves, they can't form the backbone of a album. They're more like seasoning, and when you strip them away you're left with:
-two gorgeous melodies (breathe, brain damage) one of which gets recycled
-a moving lyric here and there
-a badass vocal solo
-another pretty solid song (money)
and it's pretentious. ffs don't name your songs 'time' and 'money'
