I tend to brush off a lot of right wing nonsense by making fun of it, but it's actually kinda scary. I'm convinced the next 5-10 years will see a considerable rise in fascist tendencies.
I don't see a sea change coming any time soon. We're gonna keep going in this **** direction for several more years. Same with Danish politics, even though it's not as unhinged as American politics. A left wing Danish politician recently caused a lot of controversy and backfire from other Danish politicians by warning of rising fascist political leanings (and an increasingly fascist view of humans and human rights) in Danish politics, but I think he's right to sound the alarm.
