This has always been a go to album but recently it's reached the heights of a top 10 metal album and I can't leave it alone for longer than a week. The riffs are just so razor sharp and perfectly understand how to balance heaviness, catchiness, and that intangible thing where the notes logically flow from one to the next in a way that feels fluid and visceral (the last being what separates the debut from the rest of Vio-lence's discography). I mean if you don't think the opening title track is the perfect thrash song or at least a perfect representation of thrash then we have irreconcilable differences and you can't marry my daughter.
