I don't actually know how old you are but do you remember the 00s? Do you remember the quick death of nu metal in the early-mid 00s? And Korn had died well before then. 200k proves that.

I said 200k in the first week. They probably ended up selling more subsequently. For the record, that Korn album spent 49 consecutive weeks on the Billboard charts which yes is less than Follow the Leader (89 weeks), but it's also more than Issues (47 weeks) which came out in 1999 (a big year for nu metal). Significant Other by Limp Bizkit was also in 1999 and it sold 16 million worldwide.
Korn had, for the most part, left the mainstream yes but nu metal wasn't as dead as you say. At least not in '05.
