I really don't like the old Icewind Dale/Baldur's Gate type start/stop time combat system, so that's gonna be a problem for PoS. That type of combat system is a big reason why I didn't like Dragon Age at all. Plus some things about gritty, modern western RPG storytelling that I really don't get along with. PoS is evidently a very story heavy game, so that's a turn-off for me.
Original Sin seems more appealing to me, but I'm still not sure I'm gonna bother any time soon. I really prefer dungeon crawlers to story heavy RPGs.
So I don't know. I'm aware they're games that are supposed to be good, but they're not on my lengthy Steam and GOG wish lists.
