Well I dig Asphyx and Incantation for sure. I'm definitely more on the "hard" side of things, myself. Lately I've been digging "Voices" by Wormrot, which is an amazing melodic grindcore record that I think will really be influential in the next couple of years. I think you would like "Into the Vortex of Obscurity" by Obscure Infinity. It's an album this year that perfectly melds classic heavy metal riffing and epic feel with modern death metal technique, ferocity, and heaviness. It's really something special.
