We're over working for things we don't need while a large portion of it gets thrown out and wasted. Hunter gatherers typically only work 3 hours at most when they have easy access which isn't even nearly as abundant as our access. So if we have to exploit our people to an unhealthy level of being unnaturally over worked it should at least pay off by not throwing a good chunk of perfectly good food into the garbage while other members of our species are literally starving. That is evil.
