I picked this up from the library on a whim, knowing nothing about the album or Charlie Haden. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it's really, really good. It's a fairly large jazz band playing definitely late-60s sounding jazz inspired by the Spanish civil war. Great stuff. |
Listening to this for the god only knowsth time. This has been one of all time favorite records for many years.
