^ This is sad, but quite possible. Like elphenor, I thought the word "posturing" was a bit unkind, and hope that outrage from the left will turn into something more effective, either in legislation or at the ballot box.
We don't hear much about the Parkland kids these days, but they are still out there, I guess, along with that groundswell of opinion that wants to see tighter gun controls.

Breaking news this morning: 9 dead in Ohio shooting. The tv presenter I learned it from actually said,
".... in Dayton, Ohio. That's today, at 1 am today. That's not to be confused with yesterday's shooting...." That "not to be confused" clarification is a pretty depressing acknowledgement of what's going on this weekend.
