1) No the advice I have offered is so basic and common sense that there's prestige behind giving it. And really lately I've only given it in response when you start trying to preach hopelessness to me.
2) it's beyond you not wanting advice. You also resent any sign of hope or positive thinking I have about what i feel I can change in my own life. You're not just rejecting self help, you're promoting misery.
