Thanks for running with my analogy, OH. For me, the prob with your version is that no-one is wearing Brexit shoes until Oct 31. We still have just over a month to say "Sorry, these are too tight, I can't possibly walk in them. Please put them back in the box." After that, yeah, you wore them home, so you have to pay: no refunds.
