I loved reading Peanuts as a kid. I'm a of Calvin and Hobbes, but never heard of tintin.
I don't know if you are looking for recommendations, but let's say hypothetically you asked me I would hypothetically say
The Greatest of Marlys or
Fun House by Linda Barry and/or
Supreme Blue Rose by Ellis Warren, illustrated by Tula Lotay. Linda Barry approach to drawing is like outsider art and I find her (her characters and the things they say) hilarious. Tula Lotay is an amazing artist. The way she draws, & her choice of colors. The use of water color gives it almost a dream-like effect. Their artwork are so completely opposite, but I'm a big fan of both.
