I was a semi-functioning hard drug addict for decades. I was in and out of rehabs and halfway houses, homeless, lived in ghetto's and I did time in prison. Stealing for my drug money and dumpster diving for food was normal for me. It takes a lot of time, understanding, and soul searching to come out the other side of all that, so I applaud your progress.
