This just happened here! I was with my patient and we both smelled something burning then a bit later we see some smoke coming from the apt next door. I looked out the balcony and i see it is indeed the apt next door so i go out and start bangin on their door and no one answered. So then i call the security guard of our condo and we both start banging at the door until an old man finally came out. Says he was cookin something but then went to his room to read and didnt notice all the frickin smoke comin from his apt (im pretty sure this guy fell asleep but doesnt want to admit it) thankfully everything turned out ok, but i was ready man. I was ready to go in there and drag him outta the fire hero style.
