I'm not really. I mean I agree about his delivery and whatnot but his lyrics are just kind of about some blue collar weirdo with a vivid and obscene imagination who knows how to express himself fluidly. And I don't know why he should need anything else. I mean what are your standards for lyrics? If he can't compete with Robert Frost then that's fine so long as he can express himself fluidly, creatively, and charismatically. I mean someone with his personality expressing himself in a more intellectual manner might conflict with who he is probably and fail to do anything but impress people who aren't interested in the expression of people of his class.
