AC doesn’t cool air as odd as it sounds it removes hot air and believe it or not that’s an important distinction. Heat is the movement (or vibration) of molecules. Heat moves from hot to cold. So when grandma says your letting cold air in technically she’s wrong. You’re letting hot air out. This controls the weather, the cooling of the universe, and your bath water.
