I don’t have anything against film but in general it’s been my experience that reading philosophy pays bigger intellectual dividends. What I’ve read of Foucault (nods to elph for emphasizing his importance on here) has colored my world view more than any film I can think of. His **** on how western cultures control the masses put things into intense focus for me.
Still, I’ve been watching Netflix everyday to unwind after work before I start reading recently. Watched
City of God yesterday. Cool ****ing movie.
