the parks here are great, and the public works mandate means you get to look at Art instead of Bud Lite billboards

Five years ago we had a state park that allowed you to camp about half a mile from the beach but they closed it and are putting condos there now and another that’s on a river has allowed drilling and tree theft for whatever kind of industry. Places where I could walk in solitude have heavy machinery on it and they built a for profit prison right next to it. It’s still a nice park but they keep chipping away at it essentially turning ownership of it to industries that make contracts with the corrupt government. The industry owns the government, essentially. They just keep chipping away at it.
