Second of all, no, we do not know if young people will be fine. Nobody knows the long term effects of COVID-19, because it has not even existed long enough for there to have been any actual tests or evidence to be able to say one way or another. For all we know it may cause permanent damage to the lungs or central nervous system. Hell I even saw some scientists hypothesizing that it may affect male fertility. Every time an idiot claims that we’re just guaranteed to have no issues just because some young people have recovered well in the short term, people grow less and less weary than they should be.
