Yair Elazar Glotman Études
I come back to this album way too much, it's a masterpiece in terms of texture and mood. Probably my favorite composer right now, and I always try and recommend his music to anyone that's into jazz, minimalism, drone, or modern classical music. It's all a contrabass played in different ways, and through effects without feeling gimmicky or contrived. He made music with tape loops and cassettes as KETEV, a dark ambient project with some ties to techno which is worth checking out as well. He rides a line between two schools of music, and I absolutely love his methods because of that.
