At Barnes and Noble I used to find people still reading in a back section 20 minutes after we locked the doors and three announcements were made saying we were closed because "they didn't finish their chapter yet". I had a manager that told one of them "well you can finish it at home when you buy the book in two minutes" knowing full well they were not going to buy it because their just leeches and when he said he wasn't going to buy it she responds with "Oh, then I guess you can go to the library from now on because this is a retail business". She was the best.
