I mean, explaining your position broadly as a means of communicating your point is a fairly common thing. The Left that has emerged since 2017's major problem is they take a meat-cleaver to something that requires a scalpel. I suppose I could have written it that way, but I think it's clear we're not involved in a civil discussion.
