A few days ago I was reading a critical piece in the Guaradian that somehow made it out that her original post was racist and I absolutely couldn't believe how anyone could read it as that and then I read this and it seems like plenty of other people have?? So bizarre, even before reading Lana's "defense" it was so very crystal clear to me she was mentioning the artists she mentioned as a positive example of women singing about whatever the f
uck they want and it just so happens that most of the top female artists today are women of colour. How on earth did that turn into a racism row?? And also from the Guardian, Jesus.
