Keith Michell looked the part so much more, although I only remember the "Six Wives" series vaguely. I don't think I saw those other two series, though I do remember going to see this movie, which I imagine you know. If not, I'm sure you'd enjoy it: great acting from Paul Scofield, great insight into one of the key dilemas of Henry's reign

Yes, Lisna, I've seen
A Man For All Seasons - several times, in fact. After first viewing the film years ago, I rewatched it over and again because I was so taken by Paul Scofield's perfect performance as Thomas More. The director, Fred Zinnemann, passed over Laurence Olivier in favor of Scofield for that part. And Orson Welles as Wolsey! Great script as well.
