The specialist says I have a hiatal hernia and arthritis causing chest pain. 6 months later they’ll take another look at my lung spot to see if it’s growing. Neither the spot nor a bad heart was causing the pain. I said I thought I probably had covid when they told me I had bronchitis and he said it’s possible. He asked if I got tested and I said no and he seemed ambivalent about getting tested. He said he’s been working like crazy in the ICU because it’s been spreading like nuts around here. He said the chances of covid killing me were super small but I said well damn I had pneumonia before I don’t want to do that again live or die and he said at my age and how my innards look it progressing to that is unlikely. I’m still scared of covid but he said assuming you have and panicking every time your chest hurts is also really unhealthy. He said my chest is going to hurt for other reasons.
He said I may need a gastroenterologist but he’s got a new script for me that might help. He said give it a few weeks. I guess the hernia isn’t going anywhere
