Why give me socks? Just give me the 5 bucks and if I need socks that’s what I’ll buy. But I’m socially retarded

Speaking for myself I already pointed out that irony.
I have a hard time understanding why you don’t just keep your money for gas and she keeps hers for groceries and cut out the middleman.
If I get a gift card, which I don’t because I don’t exhange gifts with people, but if I did get one or when I got things in the past I just though ****ing Christ I hope they aren’t expecting something in return next year.
A few years back someone gave me $20 to the Gap because of I did some extra work with disabled students and I was just like goddamn I’m not going to the ****ing mall. I think it’s still sitting around somewhere expired.
