I felt betrayed but realized I wasn't surprised because of course that's what would happen. I'm sure he probably was rolling his eyes at me but was a nice enough guy that he was trying to be a redneck dad about it and using it as a "man up" teaching moment.
I still feel bad about that mouse.

I had this Liberian manager that ninja'd a mouse with a shovel. It was just "MOUSE!" then BAM, it was over in like 3 seconds.
