Yes, I have a
slight preference for 80s Rush over their 70s output as well.
Overall, the songwriting improved tremendously in the 80s. Also, their uncanny ability to draw from contemporary influences and incorporate them into the "Rush sound" was absolutely astonishing!
Sadly, we'll
never see a band of Rush's caliber
ever again.
