One thing that I couldn't get anyone to listen to - even small parts of it - was the following massive beauty. I had to wait until nobody was home in order to play it ... and being 12 or 13 years old that didn't happen too often, so I would load it up on my turntable and put the headphones on while sitting behind a set of drums. Goddamn exhilarating experience!
If you've got a couple hours to spare, then great! If not, then you might want to start at about 2 hours ("side 6" as I remember it) and ride it forward.
Massively good players on an incredibly dense piece of music.
