Actually, they are wanting to bypass the CDC completely.
The excuse they will use is that the CDC is not doing an effective job.
Well, it’s not
as effective as it could be simply because they
haven’t updated their
very old systems, so there’s a kernel of truth there.
It’s an old GOP trick: defund and generally screw up the system
from within and then get rid of it because it isn’t effective or doesn’t work at all.
That’s part of the reason you’re seeing the dismantling of various governmental areas with these people.
