The end of the article is pretty telling. If it was because of a welding accident, then holy ****. I was watching an interview with a Lebanese politician, and how this pretty much happened because of how corruption, and ineptitude (the fact that so much ammonium nitrate was left in a warehouse for 6-7 years). He was a little hesitant to mention that Hezbollah may have had something to do with why it sat there for so long (they have control over the ports and airports apparently).
Edit: Just saw a story on Facebook from a Lebanese musician I follow, they seemed like they were pretty close to the explosion from the video they took. Glad they're okay.
