Regardless of the potential solutions to overpopulation we absolutely have issues of overpopulation that aren't being solved. I mean if the world only had 7 million people rather than 7 billion do you think we'd have global warming? Do you think we'd have widespread deforestation? Do you think we'd have pollution? Saying that population and resources are simply being mismanaged and therefore we don't have overpopulation is just a way to duck eugenic talk while avoiding the conversation.

humans and their livestock now comprise about 96% of all mammal biomass on Earth. All other mammals – whales, sea lions, bears, elephants, badgers, shrews, deer, bear, cougars, rats, wolves, and all the rest – are about 4.2%.

If that doesn’t end the conversation... it’s just like climate change deniers, covid is hoax, flat earth - whatever.
