I'm fine with industrial metal, like I think CombiChrist, 3 Teeth and Manson did it very well. Ministry, which probably had a huge influence on all 3, really sucked at it. Like really really really bad. They were everything that's wrong with industrial metal. That's most of their catalog too. I don't understand how you go from exploring a lot of cool ideas trying to find a sound then landing on what they landed on.
Edit: The worst part is the brain dead surface level politics of their music. I don't disagree with their stance, but it's some corny ass Hed PE level commentary. Except I think Hed PE is actually better.
