Basic introduction:
My name is Bowdon, I am 28 years old and live between Marbella in Spain and Skipton in UK. I grew up in Holland Park London. I am a devout music fan and respect anything that has been recorded to a high quality and fools me into thinking the act is in the room with me! I love good food (maybe a little too much) and enjoy thought provoking movies!
I think my favorite music genre... is probably Alternative rock and indie rock with a modicum of blues thrown in. I love thought provoking songs with well crafted lyrics that deliver sense, great life observation and real vision. I gained my starting sounds from my dads music collection. He played a lot of Pink Floyd, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Sting and also many 80's synth acts in the car all through my childhood. My taste is therefore a mixture between ambient synth sounds and prog rock! My current favourite artists are Tom Walker, Louis Capaldi, Basil Simon & Enter Shikari. My dad also took his audio gear seriously and so I grew up with high end audio gear around me including brand names like Nad, Tannoy, JBL, Akai, Sony and Yamaha around the home!
My favorite types of music...
is definitely anything that lives in my room through my speakers like its right here with me. Id love to discover anything new that is produced to a high quality and really massages my ear drums! I like the metal to sound like metal, the wood to properly knock and the guitars to feel like they are coming straight from a marshal amp! Lyrics and great messages that reflect whats going on in the world today really catch me too.
