I’ve been a fan of Pete Seeger and The Weavers for many a moon and I
really like this. I feel like they do a great job of catching the essence of Pete Seeger and beyond that the orchestrations catch a kind of Aaron Copland nostalgia that really touches the heart. I’m probably not going to do an AOTY list for 2020 but if I did this would be on it. Sam Amidon sings on it and he’s just got such a fantastic tender beautiful voice.
