It's more the bystanders I'm after. The Trumpsters/alt-rightist are the props, though I have seem to have a decent dialogue with a few, which is also important as we might be entering a post-Trump era, be it in 4 years or 4 weeks.
I suppose I will eventually read the book and watch an episode or two. I saw the movie years ago.
There's a fair amount of
THT fanfiction—mostly Luke-June-Nick-Serena-Fred fru fru. I like writing about Gilead being pushed around as it likely would be by
Russia, China, and NATO. I figure China's invested in perhaps $2 trillion in American paper and they'll want their money back. Also much of the developing world will be pissed at Gilead for the nuclear winter, and a few of those countries have their own nukes.
