I don't care about using it against a homophobe because they aren't changing their minds anyways and it has a sting to it for them.
I would never use it to attack someone who is gay.
And yes context makes a difference. Yes it's perpetuating social stigmas along gender lines.. So is calling a guy a little bitch.
