I gotta agree wit' Absurd and Crazy Luv. None-the-less, good lyrics, and a good beat just make a track. It's gotta mean something, have that realness, some emotion. Whether it be anger, love, hate, pleasure, or what ever, if the voice ain't feelin' it they can't project it. If they can't show that they really, truly mean/feel what their saying then it's crappy music. you take somebody like Tupac, Eazy E, Biggie, they weren't just good vocalists, they didn't just have good beats or both, they came straight forward on how they felt, and what they went through to get where they were. Even Kanye West, Young Jeezy or Busta Rhymes, all excelent lyricists but they come real with it, taht's what counts.
