I'm watching this right now though the character of Beth Harmon makes a rather unsatisfactory leading lady imo. She doesn't convey much on screen about how she's feeling, so you are left wondering if she is feeling anything at all. The series rather backs up the stereotype of chess geeks being nerds who can't handle romance.

I'd like to see a prog that focuses on the real weird world of chess grandmasters: Paul Morphy, for example, who...
