Punk is not my genre. But I like diverse songs that were successful or are part of the collective memory. I like some songs of the Clash or Billy Idol.

So my question: Can you recommend some female punk songs which I could like? I mean some classics from the seventies to the nineties.

I don‘t know any successful female punk band or singer.

I can appreciate punk music if it‘s more than just aggression and „resistance“.

And my second question: Where do you feel discriminated as a woman? I mean there must be a reason why you feel attracted by this punk genre and feminism.
