Hardcore (1979, Paul Schrader)
Watching a
streamer. Gerorge C. Scott is great as an American Mid-Western Calvinist who has to confront aspects of himself in the form of a missing daughter caught in the world of porn. Good Schrader script (save a dumb Hollywood-style ending).
Not a bad soundtrack, either (Jack Nitzsche), even though it was Arvo Pärt's
Miserere that put me in the mind of the movie.
