Judging from what you're telling here I was a more mild mannered brand of autist (maybe because I'm a girl) but I was a difficult kid so I relate to the unwillingness of most people to deal with it or even understand. Just feeling like the system kind of rejects you from an early age. Like you said, that's basically a human rights violation.
