Not everyone, but a lot of New Yorkers have a very me me me attitude when it comes to spreading their wings on the crowded sidewalks that simply have to be shared. A lot people kept jogging and cycling in those tight areas that people with high co-morbidities HAVE to use. Honestly, I think you’re very far removed from the type of people that get me so pissed. yeah I don't live on the outskirts of town but there's enough room if you take care, it's not New York. Also it helps that I live near a very large park. Some people don't give a **** though; last week I was running in the park on a road which is wide enough, but 3 guys were walking side by side so I couldn't pass distantly. They saw me coming, didn't move, so I said 'come on, make some space' and they just made those dismissive whiny woman mimicking noises and still didn't move. That really pissed me off on so many levels, luckily it was an exception.
